“Sengkuang” (Dracontomelon dao (Blanco) Merril and Rolf’s name. Sengkuang plants grow in watersheds, so they can act as erosion barriers. These plants are found in vegetation around plants in the form of garden plants including bananas, mangoes, awar-awar, rambutan etc.

According to experts, this fruit comes from the Philippines and the dao name is one of the cities in the country. There are even universities in the Philippines that use this plant symbol in their logo.
This plant can grow up to 40 m and a tree diameter of 100 cm. Hard dao tree wood of excellent quality.
